Market Pricing Mechanism

On Omen, users express their beliefs about events by buying and selling "shares" representing outcomes (e.g., "Yes" or "No"). Share prices float between 0.00 and 1.00, directly reflecting the market's collective probability of that outcome (e.g., a price of 0.35 indicates a 35% probability).

Each pair of mutually exclusive outcomes (e.g., "Yes" + "No") is fully backed by equivalent collateral assets. Upon event resolution, shares for the correct outcome redeem 1.00 unit of collateral value, while incorrect shares become worthless.
